Gram Gaurav Sansthan – Transforming Lives in Karauli, Rajasthan (Story of Chaurji)

Gram Gaurav Sansthan, a grassroots development organization in Karauli, Rajasthan has -transformed many lives by supporting villagers in building structures of water conservation.
This is a story of Chaurji, a farmer who had a piece of land but was unable to do anything with it due to its infertility ans scarcity of water in the region.
With the support of the Sansthan, he built a Pokhar for conserving rain water and started farming on his land. The crop yield increased manifold and his life turned around. He could feed three meals to his family, saved money for his children’s education and earned through livestock rearing
