Rajiv Gandhi Foundation has been working in the Dang region of Rajasthan for water and soil conservation through Gram Gaurav Sansthan. By constructing traditional structures like Pokhar, Taal and Pagara, farmers have been able to regenerate their livelihoods by farming on a rocky, difficult terrain and also through cattle rearing.
